Kashimira and Kashigaon lie along the Western Express Highway, at the junction where Ghodbunder Road turns east towards Thane. That position is convenient for driving and inconvenient for rail — there is no station in Kashimira itself, so residents drive or take an auto to Mira Road or Dahisar.

His work is indexed on PubMed, including papers on 3D-printed mesh implants for bone gap management in weight-bearing bone and on patellar fracture fixation.
