Local Access
Getting Here from Bhayandar
Bhayandar sits immediately north of Mira Road on the Western line, and the two effectively function as one town. From Bhayandar station the clinic is a single stop south to Mira Road station, then a short auto ride to Poonam Cluster 2. By road it is roughly ten to fifteen minutes from either Bhayandar East or West outside peak hours.
Patients also travel in from Uttan, Chowk, Dongri and Rai-Murdhe on the western coastal side, typically around twenty to twenty-five minutes via Bhayandar West. For residents of these areas the alternative has traditionally been a journey into Borivali or beyond, which for someone with an arthritic knee or hip is a genuine deterrent to getting treated at all.
The advantage of a local practice is not only the first consultation. Joint replacement involves pre-operative assessment, admission, and then a year of follow-up and physiotherapy reviews. That schedule is what makes distance expensive — and what causes patients to abandon rehabilitation halfway through, which is the commonest reason a technically good replacement produces a disappointing result.
